The Goal/Mission of Financial Access Federal Credit Union and The Small Business Fund Council is to strengthen communities and improve lives by providing access to affordable high-quality financial products and services. 

Below is a list of businesses that can provide you with start-up assistance ie business plans, budgets, building credit, and applications for small business loans.

Inclusive Manatee
Inclusive Manatee helps to improve economic opportunity by connecting low-income and unemployed individuals to living-wage jobs and career pathways or entrepreneurship. Financial Access FCU offers an exclusive package of banking services to Inclusive Manatee participants. Must be a resident of the Samoset and West Samoset communities to apply.

Manasota SCORE
Since 1964, SCORE has provided expert volunteer mentoring to more than 11 million entrepreneurs and small business owners. As the nation’s largest network of volunteer business mentors, SCORE is committed to helping any person succeed in their small business endeavor.

The Business Builders Association LLC
The organization is a new business.  It has three components.  The first one is networking.  We will have a networking event once a month.   We also offer workshops and business counseling for our members. The organization is designed for new businesses and existing businesses. The cost for membership is $75.00 per year.

Florida SBDC at University of South Florida 
Emerging and existing business owners in the 10-county Tampa Bay region seek out the Florida SBDC at University of South Florida for the confidential no-cost consulting, training, and market research and information they need to grow and succeed. Our professional consultants provide expertise in areas that are vital to owning and operating a successful business, including: strategic market research; market expansion and revenue growth; business, strategic, and marketing plan development; access to capital and loan packaging assistance; financial analysis and assessment; accounting systems and financial literacy; and feasibility analysis and start-up assistance.
